'Adulting' 101 - Helping Teens & Young Adults Achieve Better Life Skills

We teach teenagers and young adults about the life skills they need to live on their own. It’s “Adulting 101” – and it’s an invaluable part of life.

This home economics program includes a complete life skills curriculum to teach teenagers budgeting, financial responsibility, apartment hunting, signing a lease, proper nutrition, food safety and so much more. We help to prepare young adults for life on their own.

This 4-week program contains life skills activities, demos, and exercises to reinforce topics. Teens or young adults will love this program and they will learn important life skills lessons that will help them make smart choices. The goal of The Achieving Academy is to prepare teens and young adults to live independently, happily and responsibly.

The curriculum of The Achieving Academy's Life Skills program is intended to be taught in a lively, upbeat, interactive manner. Students are expected to be active participants in the learning process. The trainer will guide the students through each lesson, being open to questions, adding helpful tips and information to the dialogue, encouraging participation, and providing insight. The course is intended to be informative and fun. Laughter is encouraged!
